It is highly fitting that Ray Bradbury passed from this earth last night with the Transit of Venus.
Bradbury has been an ongoing influence in my thinking about the world within, without and beyond. As fantastic as his stories and novels are, his words on writing and life are equally worthy. Look them up. Re-read (or read for the first time) his Martian Chronicles.
“Learning to let go should be learned before learning to get. Life should be touched, not strangled. You’ve got to relax, let it happen at times, and at others move forward with it.” ― Ray BradburyRead My last conversation with Ray Bradbury by John Blake.
“I don’t think about what I do. I do it,” he told me. “That’s Buddhism. I jump off the cliff and build my wings on the way down.” — Ray Bradbury______________________________
